Sir Zelman Cowen Universities Fund Commercialisation of science workshop

17 July 2017

The Sir Zelman Cowen Universities Fund Commercialisation of Science Workshop will bring together high-achieving scientists from the University of Sydney and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, as well as venture capitalists and young Australian entrepreneurs to share knowledge about commercialisation of research in medicine and science. The workshop aims to energise their present collaborations and promote long term partnership between the two universities. The workshop is open to anyone interested in learning from our speakers’ research innovation and commercialisation experience.

The Sir Zelman Cowen Universities Fund was established in 1978 to raise funds for medical and scientific research and to build a foundation for cooperative work between the University of Sydney and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Since then, the universities have contributed to the increasing power of medical science to deal with human disease in all its forms - to diagnose, to cure and, where no cure is available, to treat.
