Making the Most of Your Presentation

25 September 2017

Strong presentation skills are a key to success for researchers, business people and others, yet many speakers are at a loss to tackle the task. Systematic as they otherwise can be in their work, they go at it intuitively or haphazardly, with much good will but seldom good results.

The ARC Centre for Ultrahigh bandwidth Devices for Optical Systems - CUDOS, and the SPIE.OSA University of Sydney student chapter are pleased to introduce, for the very first time in Australia, Dr Jean-luc Doumont who will propose in his free public lecture a systematic way to prepare and deliver successful presentations, covering structure, slides, delivery and stage fright.

Jean-luc Doumont trains scientists, engineerings, business people and other rational minds across the world in effective communication using an original approach that contrasts sharply with traditional methods. An engineer (Louvain) and PhD in apply physics (Stanford), Jean-luc Doumont is an articulate, entertaining and thought-provoking speaker. He is acclaimed worldwide for his no-nonsense approach, his highly applicable, often life-changing recommendations on a wide range of topics.

This event is free of charge and everyone is welcome to attend and learn how to make the most of their presentation!
