Pregnancy and Beyond health Seminar

This free event is designed to educate and empower pregnant women and their healthcare providers about the latest research into pregnancy, birth and beyond and what can be done to ensure that all babies have the best possible start in life.

Come along to hear the latest research that may assist your practice. This seminar is also beneficial whether you are pregnant or are looking to get pregnant soon or in the coming years.

Our expert speakers will cover:

  • Being born a little bit early- does it matter? - Professor Lex Doyle, Neonatologist, Associate Director of Research, The Women’s, Melbourne.
  • Our NICU/special care unit experience - Hayden James Luby, Aria nominated electro pop producer and his artist wife, Jennifer Lia share the story of their NICU experience after their son James was born at 30 weeks and 5 days.
  • Conception to Age 5: Why the first 2,000 days of a child's life are the most important - Dr Elisabeth Murphy, Senior Clinical Advisor Child and Family Health, NSW Ministry of Health.


Expert presentations will be followed by Q&A time.
