Security Attacks and Defences in the Age of AI and IoT

Recent advances in artificial intelligence (AI) has made it possible to gain unprecedented intelligence from data collected from variety of sources. With the advent of Internet of Things (IoT), a myriad of devices that are increasingly being installed in our physical environment where every movement is tracked and every conversation is recorded. As much as these technologies are revolutionary in providing attractive services, they can be intrusive and unsafe. The potential for serious damage, nationally and globally, is enormous - yet too little is known about the actual attack surface and the real threat landscape. In light of that, we should be very well prepared with knowledge and skills to tackle the upcoming security challenges to be able to benefit from advances in AI and IoT.
