The Q Forum: The Quantum Race

21 February 2019

The Q Forum is back again! Following a packed house in 2018, the Centre for International Security Studies presents the fifth annual Q Forum which will focus on the Quantum Race: Parallels, Possibilities and Perils.

Is the quantum race really happening and is this the best way for us to understand breakthroughs in quantum technology? How can historical parallels with nuclear energy and the space race help us understand where we’re headed? What are the possibilities – and the perils – that await us in a quantum future?

The Q Forum brings together leading experts in quantum innovation, science policy and security studies to debate the societal and strategic consequences of the race for quantum supremacy. For a taste of what to expect, you can watch the previous Q Forum here.
