Yr 7 & 8 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Students Experience Uni

30 May 2017

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students develop confidence in a university environment by spending the day on campus participating in a range of Faculty-based workshops.

While developing positive associations between their individual interests and higher education, students are also equipped with information about alternative entry pathways and the support services available at the University. Students identify their interests and academic strengths using our interactive ASTAR Career Finder App. Fun and accessible resources for students on careers, study and culture available at ASTAR.TV

Students who attend this day are invited to apply for the Wingara Mura - Bunga Barrabugu Summer Program.

This event is held during Reconciliation Week each year. Students and teachers are warmly invited to join university students and staff in the Sea of Hands on the Front Lawns.
