Masterclass for the Master of Human Rights

8 October 2019

Our masterclasses program is your opportunity to taste test our curriculum.

Delivered from a class that may form your future course, so you can explore which postgraduate option is right for you.

Racism and Human Rights

Racism persists in multiple forms, even within societies that regard themselves as successes in multiculturalism. This masterclass will introduce you to the different dimensions of racism and its manifestations, and to the legislative and educative responses to racism, both domestic and international.

Presented by Dr Tim Soutphommasane. Former Race Discrimination Commissioner

This class is delivered as part of HRTD 6901 Human Rights: Norms and Mechanisms – a unit of study offered through the Master of Human Rights.
